Virginia High School Lacrosse - Weddington drops to St. Anne's-Belfield

St. Anne's-Belfield Saints (Charlottesville, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC), 19-5 in a non-league battle.

With the victory, St. Anne's-Belfield advances its record to 9-5 on the season.

The Warriors now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marvin Ridge for a Southern Carolina/Rocky River battle on Monday, May 5. Weddington will encounter a Mavericks team coming off a 1-0 league win over Sun Valley (Monroe, NC). The Mavericks record now stands at 15-3.
