Honaker Tigers (Honaker, VA) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Virginia High Bearcats (Bristol, VA), 5-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Honaker advances its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Central Wise (Norton, VA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league test on Monday, May 5. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 9-0. Central Wise won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Richlands (Richlands, VA)

The Bearcats now have a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tazewell for a Southwest test on Tuesday, May 6. Virginia High will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Graham (Bluefield, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-8.
