The Midland Chemics soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Stoney Creek Cougars to 0 in the Chemics non-league victory on Friday.
The Chemics now hold a 12-0 record. They play next when they travel to Grand Blanc for a non-league bout on Monday, May 5.
With the loss, Stoney Creek moves to 2-8 on the year. The Cougars host Plymouth (Canton, MI) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, May 3. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Plymouth won 8-1 in their recent league bout against South Lyon (South Lyon, MI)
