The Hononegah Indians baseball team scored 21 runs and held the host Jefferson J-Hawks to 0 in the Indians non-league win on Friday.

The Indians now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host Hampshire for a non-league test on Saturday, May 3. Hononegah will clash with a Whip-Purs team coming off a 7-6 league win over Cary-Grove (Cary, IL). The Whip-Purs record now stands at 15-8.

With the defeat, Jefferson drops to 0-4 on the year. The J-hawks travel to Belvidere (Belvidere, IL) to clash with the Bucs in a test on Wednesday, May 7. The Bucs go into the test with a record of 8-10. Belvidere lost 9-3 in their recent non-league test against Marengo (Marengo, IL)
