Fans at Friday's non-league test between the Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) and the host Lakes Eagles (Lake Villa, IL), witnessed Stevenson's lacrosse squad overcome Lakes by a count of 14-7.

The Patriots (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL). The Bears enter the North Suburban test with a 10-2 record. In their last test, Lake Zurich was overwhelmed by Barrington (Barrington, IL), 14-8, in a non-league test.

Next, the Eagles battle the Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL) in a Northern Lake County test, on Wednesday, May 7. Lakes will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the test with a 11-2 record after their 12-6 non-league loss to Cary-Grove (Cary, IL).
