The St. Mary's Spartans lacrosse squad scored 9 points and limited the host Lowell Catholic Crusaders to 5 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Feehan for a Catholic Central challenge on Monday, May 5. St. Mary's will clash with a Shamrocks squad coming off a 12-11 non-league loss to Xaverian Brothers (Westwood, MA). The Shamrocks record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, Lowell Catholic falls to 4-6 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Shawsheen Valley Tech (Billerica, MA) to clash with the Rams in a Commonwealth challenge on Monday, May 5. The Rams go into the challenge with a record of 10-1. Shawsheen Valley Tech won 12-11 in their recent non-league challenge against Winthrop (Winthrop, MA)
