In Friday's league challenge, the host Maple Mountain Golden Eagles lacrosse squad scored a good 15-3 triumph over the Salem Hills Skyhawks.

The Golden Eagles (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT). The Dons go into the 5A Region 7 challenge with a 9-7 record. In their last challenge, Spanish Fork knocked off Cedar Valley (Eagle Mountain, UT), 17-12, in a league challenge.

Next, the Skyhawks clash with the Timpview Thunderbirds (Provo, UT) in a 5A Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, May 6. Salem Hills will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 9-6 league win over Wasatch (Heber City, UT).
