Pennsylvania High School Softball - Lower Moreland sneaks past Academy of the New Church

May 2, 2025: Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006

The Lower Moreland Lions softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Academy of the New Church Lions to 6 in the Lions non-league win on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Collegium Charter for a non-league battle on Monday, May 5. Lower Moreland will confront a Cougar team coming off a 17-2 non-league loss to Faith Christian Academy (Sellersville, PA). The Cougar record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, Academy of the New Church moves to 10-4 on the season.
