Michigan High School Softball - Utica gets by Algonac

May 2, 2025: Utica, MI 48317

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Utica Chieftains (Utica, MI) and the visiting Algonac Muskrats (Algonac, MI), observed Utica's softball team get by Algonac by a tally of 4-3.

The Chieftains (6-7) will now prepare for their bout against Romeo (Romeo, MI). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 9-6 record. In their last bout, Romeo was nipped by Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI), 4-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Muskrats clash with the Capac Chiefs (Capac, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 3. Algonac will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record.
