The Anoka Tornadoes softball squad (Anoka, MN), was edged 8-7 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Maple Grove Crimson (Maple Grove, MN)

With the triumph, Maple Grove improves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Crimson travel to Champlin Park (Champlin, MN) to face the Rebels in a Northwest Suburban contest on Tuesday, May 6. The Rebels enter the contest with a record of 7-2.

The Tornadoes now hold a 9-5 record. They play next when they host St. Michael-Albertville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 6.
