In Friday's league test, the Appoquinimink Jaguars (West Middletown, DE) softball squad overwhelmed the host William Penn Colonials (New Castle, DE), by a tally of 19-0.

Next, the Jaguars clash with the Caravel Academy Buccaneers (Bear, DE) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 6. Appoquinimink will attempt to advance on its 13-0 season record. The Buccaneers go into the test with a 11-2 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE).

The Colonials (1-10) will now prepare for their test against Odessa (Townsend, DE). The Ducks go into the Blue Hen - Flight A test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Odessa was routed by Milford (Milford, DE), 9-4, in a non-league test.
