The Assumption Mustangs softball team scored 4 runs and held the host Brusly Panthers to 0 in the Mustangs non-league win on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 29-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North DeSoto for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 3. Assumption will encounter a Griffins team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Lutcher (Lutcher, LA). The Griffins record now stands at 30-3.

With the loss, Brusly moves to 32-4 on the season.
