The Glenbard South Raiders softball team scored 17 runs and held the host Aurora East Tomcats to 0 in the Raiders league win on Friday.

The Raiders now sport a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wheaton-Warrenville South for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 3. Glenbard South will confront a Tigers team coming off a 10-6 league win over Batavia (Batavia, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 13-3.

With the loss, Aurora East moves to 1-13 on the season. The Tomcats host Elgin (Elgin, IL) to confront the Maroons in a Upstate Eight battle on Monday, May 5. The Maroons come into the battle with a record of 3-16. Elgin lost 20-2 in their recent league battle against Glenbard East (Lombard, IL)
