The Beaver River Beavers softball team scored 19 runs and held the visiting Lyme Central Lakers to 2 in the Beavers non-league win on Friday.

The Beavers now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belleville Henderson Central for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 3. Beaver River will confront a Panthers team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Thousand Islands (Clayton, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Lyme Central moves to 0-3 on the season. The Lakers host Sackets Harbor Central (Sackets Harbor, NY) to confront the Patriots in a Section 3 Frontier D battle on Saturday, May 3. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 3-0. Sackets Harbor Central won 7-6 in their recent league battle against Belleville Henderson Central (Belleville, NY)
