In Friday's non-league test, the Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL) softball squad got by the visiting Bloomington Central Catholic Saints (Bloomington, IL), by a tally of 4-3.
Next, the Ironmen clash with the Normal West Wildcats (Normal, IL) in a Big Twelve test, on Tuesday, May 6. Normal Community will attempt to advance on its 11-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 7-12 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Olympia (Stanford, IL).
The Saints (16-9) will now prepare for their test against Pontiac (Pontiac, IL). The Indians go into the Illini Prairie test with a 13-5 record.
