The Continental Pirates (Continental, OH) softball nipped the host Bluffton Pirates (Bluffton, OH), 2-1 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Pirates now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hicksville for a non-league outing on Monday, May 5. Continental will encounter a Aces team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Evergreen (Metamora, OH). The Aces record now stands at 8-11.

With the loss, Bluffton moves to 1-5 on the season. The Pirates travel to Hardin Northern (Dola, OH) to confront the Polar Bears in a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 7. The Polar Bears come into the battle with a record of 13-4.
