Caravel Academy Buccaneers (Bear, DE) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Caesar Rodney Riders (Camden, DE), 13-6 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Caravel Academy improves its record to 11-2 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE) to play the Vikings in a non-league game on Saturday, May 3. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 13-0.
The Riders now hold a 2-10 record. They play next when they host Lake Forest for a non-league game on Saturday, May 3. Caesar Rodney will play a Spartans squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Smyrna (Smyrna, DE). The Spartans record now stands at 14-0.
