The Waynesboro Little Giants softball team scored 29 runs and held the host Charlottesville Black Knights to 15 in the Little Giants non-league win on Friday.

The Little Giants now possess a 1-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverheads for a Shenandoah battle on Tuesday, May 6. Waynesboro will confront a Gladiators team coming off a 4-3 league win over Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Gladiators record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Charlottesville moves to 1-11 on the season. The Black knights host Goochland (Goochland, VA) to confront the Bulldogs in a Jefferson battle on Tuesday, May 6. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 7-6.
