The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Kingston Tigers (Kingston, NY) and the visiting Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY), observed Kingston's softball team prevail over Cornwall Central by a tally of 9-1.

The Tigers (7-6) will now prepare for their bout against Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY). The Bushmen go into the Orange County Division I bout with a 8-2 record. In their last bout, Pine Bush knocked off Middletown (Middletown, NY), 9-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Dragons clash with the Middletown Middie Bears (Middletown, NY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 3. Cornwall Central will attempt to advance on its 3-7 season record. The Middie Bears go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 7-3 league loss to Newburgh Free Academy (Newburgh, NY).
