Mayville Cardinals (Mayville, WI) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Horicon Marshmen (Horicon, WI), 10-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Mayville improves its record to 11-3 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Winnebago Lutheran Academy (Fond du Lac, WI) to play the Vikings in a Flyway game on Monday, May 5. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 4-8.

The Marshmen now hold a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Cambria-Friesland for a non-league game on Monday, May 5. Horicon will play a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 13-0 league win over Randolph (Randolph, WI). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 9-3.
