Jamestown Bluejays (Jamestown, ND) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Staples-Motley Cardinals (Staples, MN), 4-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Jamestown upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Bluejays travel to Little Falls (Little Falls, MN) to play the Flyers in a non-league game on Saturday, May 3. The Flyers enter the game with a record of 1-6.

The Cardinals now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Pelican Rapids for a Heart of Lakes Conference game on Monday, May 5.
