The New Milford Green Wave triumphed over the host Joel Barlow Falcons softball squad by a count of 17-0 in Friday's league challenge.
Next, the Green Wave play the Bunnell Bulldogs (Stratford, CT) in a Southwest - Colonial challenge, on Monday, May 5. New Milford will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 8-0 league win over Stratford (Stratford, CT).
The Falcons (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Masuk (Monroe, CT). The Panthers enter the Southwest - Colonial challenge with a 9-1 record. In their last challenge, Masuk overcame Bethel (Bethel, CT), 18-2, in a league challenge.
