The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Merrimack Tomahawks (Merrimack, NH) and the visiting Keene Blackbirds (Keene, NH), observed Merrimack's softball team get by Keene by a tally of 6-0.
The Tomahawks (4-4) will now prepare for their bout against Exeter (Exeter, NH). The Blue Hawks go into the Division I bout with a 3-4 record. In their last bout, Exeter was routed by Portsmouth (Portsmouth, NH), 7-1, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Blackbirds clash with the Alvirne Broncos (Hudson, NH) in a Division I bout, on Monday, May 5. Keene will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 18-2 league loss to Exeter (Exeter, NH).
