The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Mount Olive Marauders (Flanders, NJ) and the host Lenape Valley Patriots (Stanhope, NJ), observed Mount Olive's softball team get by Lenape Valley by a tally of 11-4.

The Marauders (9-9) will now prepare for their bout against Morristown (Morristown, NJ). The Colonials go into the non-league bout with a 8-4 record. In their last bout, Morristown tipped Chatham (Chatham, NJ), 4-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the North Warren Regional Patriots (Blairstown, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 5. Lenape Valley will attempt to advance on its 1-11 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 13-2 non-league loss to Warren Hills Regional (Washington, NJ).
