The Mineral County Serpents overwhelmed the visiting Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage Rams softball squad by a count of 18-1 in Friday's league challenge.
Next, the Serpents meet the Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage Rams (Yerington, NV) in a 1A Northern challenge, on Friday, May 2. Mineral County will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Rams go into the challenge with a 0-10 record after their 1-0 league loss to Wells (Wells, NV).
The Rams (0-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV). The Serpents go into the 1A Northern challenge with a 12-6 record. In their last challenge, Mineral County toppled Eureka (Eureka, NV), 27-11, in a league challenge.
