New Jersey High School Softball - North Hunterdon bounces Newton

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting North Hunterdon Lions softball team scored a nice 14-2 win over the Newton Braves.
The Lions (9-7) will now prepare for their match against DePaul Catholic (Wayne, NJ). The Spartans come into the non-league match with a 9-4 record. In their last match, DePaul Catholic notched a victory over Lakeland Regional (Wanaque, NJ), 12-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Braves battle the Dover Tigers (Dover, NJ) in a non-league match, on Monday, May 5. Newton will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record.
