The Roseau Rams triumphed over the visiting Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] Northern Freeze softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Rams meet the Goodridge/Thief River Falls Huskies (Goodridge, MN) in a Freelance challenge, on Tuesday, May 6. Roseau will attempt to upgrade on its 10-1 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 10-0 league loss to Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN).

The Northern Freeze (0-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Fertile-Beltrami (Fertile, MN). The Falcons enter the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Fertile-Beltrami was routed by Mahnomen/Waubun (Mahnomen, MN), 13-0, in a non-league challenge.
