The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Old Bridge Knights (Old Bridge, NJ) and the host South Brunswick Vikings (Monmouth Junction, NJ), observed Old Bridge's softball team get by South Brunswick by a tally of 8-4.

The Knights (8-12) will now prepare for their bout against Middletown South (Middletown, NJ). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 10-3 record. In their last bout, Middletown South was routed by St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ), 10-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Hillsborough Raiders (Hillsborough, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 5. South Brunswick will attempt to advance on its 5-9 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 4-13 record after their 6-4 non-league win over Mount St. Mary Academy (Watchung, NJ).
