California High School Softball - Orange Vista bounces Rancho Verde

The Orange Vista Coyotes softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Rancho Verde Mustangs to 3 in the Coyotes non-league win on Friday.

The Coyotes now possess a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Poly for a Ivy battle on Tuesday, May 6. Orange Vista will confront a Bears team coming off a 5-3 league win over Paloma Valley (Menifee, CA). The Bears record now stands at 19-8.

With the loss, Rancho Verde moves to 16-4 on the season. The Mustangs host Citrus Hill (Perris, CA) to confront the Hawks in a Inland Valley battle on Tuesday, May 6. The Hawks come into the battle with a record of 9-8. Citrus Hill lost 10-9 in their recent non-league battle against Moreno Valley (Moreno Valley, CA)
