Santa Monica Vikings (Santa Monica, CA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they observed their softball team get by the host Viewpoint Patriots (Calabasas, CA), 2-1 in a non-league bout.

The Vikings (18-5) will now prepare for their bout against Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA). The Sea Hawks go into the non-league bout with a 16-6 record.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Oakwood Owls (North Hollywood, CA) in a Gold Coast bout, on Tuesday, May 6. Viewpoint will attempt to advance on its 15-2 season record. The Owls go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 13-0 league win over Crossroads (Santa Monica, CA).
