Washington, DC High School Softball - St. Andrew's Episcopal succumbs to Sidwell Friends

In Friday's league test, the Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD), by a tally of 23-2.
Next, the Quakers meet the National Cathedral (Washington, DC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 6. Sidwell Friends will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record. The go into the test with a 9-3 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Georgetown Day (Washington, DC).
The Lions (0-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Potomac School (McLean, VA). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 10-3 record. In their last challenge, Potomac School overcame Fredericksburg Christian (Fredericksburg, VA), 16-6, in a non-league challenge.
