The Southern Door Eagles softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Sturgeon Bay Clippers to 0 in the Eagles league win on Friday.

The Eagles now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brillion for a non-league battle on Monday, May 5. Southern Door will confront a Lions team coming off a 8-7 league win over Chilton (Chilton, WI). The Lions record now stands at 12-1.

With the loss, Sturgeon Bay moves to 0-4 on the season. The Clippers host Gibraltar (Fish Creek, WI) to confront the Vikings in a battle on Tuesday, May 6. The Vikings come into the battle with a record of 1-8. Gibraltar lost 12-0 in their recent league battle against Peshtigo (Peshtigo, WI)
