In Saturday's non-league game, the host Harrison Central Huskies baseball team scored a nice 14-2 win over the Catholic Central Crusaders.
The Huskies (13-7) will now prepare for their game against Steubenville (Steubenville, OH). The Big Red go into the Ohio Valley Athletic AAAAA game with a 12-7 record. In their last game, Steubenville was overwhelmed by Morgantown (Morgantown, WV), 4-1, in a league game.
Next, the Crusaders play the Bridgeport Bulldogs (Bridgeport, OH) in a Ohio Valley Athletic AA game, on Monday, May 4. Catholic Central will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Bulldogs go into the game with a 7-10 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Madonna (Weirton, WV).
