Indiana High School Baseball - Eastern defeats Maconaquah

May 2, 2026: Greentown, IN 46936

The Eastern Comets baseball squad scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Maconaquah Braves to 0 in the Comets non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Eastern moves its record to 12-5 on the season. The Comets host Western (Russiaville, IN) to battle the Panthers in a non-league match on Monday, May 4. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 15-1. Western won 8-7 in their recent non-league match against McCutcheon (Lafayette, IN)

The Braves now possess a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lewis Cass for a Three Rivers match on Monday, May 4. Maconaquah will battle a Kings squad coming off a 9-3 league loss to Whitko (South Whitley, IN). The Kings record now stands at 5-6.
