Illinois High School Baseball - Geneseo wallops Princeton

May 2, 2026: Geneseo, IL 61254

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Geneseo Maple Leafs (Geneseo, IL) and the visiting Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IL), saw Geneseo's baseball team gain a win over Princeton by a tally of 10-0.

The Maple Leafs (14-9) will now prepare for their battle against Sterling (Sterling, IL). The Golden Warriors enter the Western Big Six battle with a 7-15 record. In their last battle, Sterling defeated Eastland (Lanark, IL), 14-11, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Tigers face the Hall Red Devils (Spring Valley, IL) in a Three Rivers battle, on Monday, May 4. Princeton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Red Devils enter the battle with a 15-8 record after their 13-3 league win over Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL).
