In Saturday's non-league bout, the Metuchen Bulldogs (Metuchen, NJ) baseball squad routed the visiting J.P. Stevens Hawks (Edison, NJ), by a count of 14-8.

The Bulldogs now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they host North Brunswick for a non-league test on Saturday, May 2.

With the defeat, J.P. Stevens drops to 11-5 on the year. The Hawks travel to Edison (Edison, NJ) to play the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, May 2. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 11-3.
