The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Wesclin Warriors (Trenton, IL) and the visiting Vandalia Vandals (Vandalia, IL), saw Wesclin's baseball team beat Vandalia by a margin of 11-2.

The Warriors (8-12) will now prepare for their battle against Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL). The Explorers enter the non-league battle with a 8-12 record. In their last battle, Marquette Catholic was overwhelmed by Staunton (Staunton, IL), 7-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Vandals face the Southwestern Piasa Birds (Piasa, IL) in a South Central battle, on Monday, May 4. Vandalia will attempt to improve on its 12-12 season record. The Piasa Birds enter the battle with a 4-20 record after their 5-4 league loss to Staunton (Staunton, IL).
