In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Dundee-Crown Chargers lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-4 win over the Wheeling Wildcats.

The Chargers (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL). The Gators enter the Fox Valley contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Crystal Lake South nipped Lake Park (Roselle, IL), 14-4, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Timothy Christian Trojans (Elmhurst, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 4. Wheeling will attempt to better on its 1-13 season record. The Trojans enter the contest with a 5-4 record after their 16-4 non-league loss to Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL).
