In Saturday's non-league test, the Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Berkley Bears (Berkley, MI), by a tally of 15-0.
Next, the Blue Devils clash with the Port Huron Northern Huskies (Port Huron, MI) in a Macomb Area - Red test, on Monday, May 4. Grosse Pointe South will attempt to advance on its 17-4 season record.
The Bears (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Athens (Troy, MI). The Red Hawks go into the Oakland - White test with a 4-11 record. In their last test, Athens was routed by Fraser (Fraser, MI), 10-0, in a non-league test.
