The Shepherd Bluejays (Shepherd, MI) softball nipped the visiting Fremont Packers (Fremont, MI), 8-7 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Bluejays now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Orion for a non-league outing on Saturday, May 2. Shepherd will encounter a Dragons team coming off a 8-3 non-league win over Adams (Rochester, MI). The Dragons record now stands at 4-3.
