In Saturday's league test, the Wilton/Wing Miners (Wilton, ND) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Garrison Troopers (Garrison, ND), by a count of 15-0.
Next, the Miners meet the Velva/Drake/Anamoose Aggies (Velva, ND) in a Class B - Region 4 test, on Tuesday, May 5. Wilton/Wing will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Aggies go into the test with a 6-0 record after their 11-0 league win over Nedrose (Minot, ND).
The Troopers (0-6) will now prepare for their test against Heart River co-op [Belfield/South Heart] (Belfield, ND). The Cougars go into the Class B - Region 4 test with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Heart River co-op [Belfield/South Heart] was routed by Harvey (Harvey, ND), 4-3, in a league match.
