The Valley City Hi-Liners (Valley City, ND) softball nipped the visiting Turtle Mountain Braves (Belcourt, ND), 13-12 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Hi-Liners now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dakota Prairie for a non-league outing on Saturday, May 2.
With the loss, Turtle Mountain moves to 0-8 on the season. The Braves host Watford City (Watford City, ND) to encounter the Wolves in a Class A - West Region outing on Tuesday, May 5. The Wolves come into the outing with a record of 0-4.
