The New Washington Mustangs baseball team (New Washington, IN), was overwhelmed 26-5 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting Clarksville Generals (Clarksville, IN)
The Generals now hold a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Floyd Central for a non-league outing on Monday, May 23. Clarksville will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 12-4 non-league win over Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN). The Highlanders record now stands at 11-3.
Next, the Mustangs confront the Jac-Cen-Del Eagles (Osgood, IN) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, May 21. New Washington will attempt to advance on its 1-17 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 6-13 record after their 10-8 non-league loss to Trinity Lutheran (Seymour, IN).
