Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Pace Patriots (Pace, FL) and the visiting Melbourne Bulldogs (Melbourne, FL), saw Pace's baseball squad edge Melbourne by a count of 2-1.

Coming up next, the Patriots play the Doral Academy Firebirds (Doral, FL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 21. Pace will attempt to move on its 26-3 season record. The Firebirds enter the battle with a 25-4 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Sickles (Tampa, FL).

The Bulldogs now possess a 26-3 record.
