The Thurston Eagles baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Summit Academy Dragons to 2 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.

The Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Garden City (Garden City, MI). The Cougars go into the Western Wayne match with a 13-5 record. In their last match, Garden City gained a win over Glenn (Westland, MI), 8-2, in a league match.

The Dragons (12-5) will now prepare for their match against Cabrini (Allen Park, MI). The Monarchs go into the non-league match with a 3-10 record.
