Vernon Hills Cougars (Vernon Hills, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Palatine Pirates (Palatine, IL), 14-5 in a non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 8-12 record.
