The Bolton Bulldogs nipped the visiting Windsor Locks Raiders softball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Friday's league battle.

The Bulldogs (10-7) will now prepare for their battle against Cheney RVT (Manchester, CT). The Beavers go into the non-league battle with a 1-9 record. In their last battle, Cheney RVT was edged by Harvard Ellis Tech (Killingly, CT), 13-1, in a non-league battle.

The Raiders now possess a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Avon for a North Central Connecticut battle on Saturday, May 21. Windsor Locks will confront a Falcons squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Farmington (Farmington, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 14-4.
