The Dowagiac Chieftains softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Sturgis Trojans to 0 in the Chieftains league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Dowagiac moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Chieftains host Decatur (Decatur, MI) to clash with the Raiders in a Southwest 10 game on Thursday, May 26. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 10-2. Decatur won 11-1 in their recent league game against Lawton (Lawton, MI)
