Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Russia Raiders (Russia, OH) and the host Southeastern Local Trojans (South Charleston, OH), witnessed Russia's softball squad tip Southeastern Local by a count of 8-3.

The Raiders now sport a 16-1 record. They play next when they travel to East Knox for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 25. Russia will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Newark Catholic (Newark, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-9.

With the loss, Southeastern Local moves to 10-5 on the season.
