Watkins Memorial Warriors (Pataskala, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Westerville Central Warhawks (Westerville, OH), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 26-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to John Glenn for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 23. Watkins Memorial will battle a Little Muskies squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Morgan (McConnelsville, OH). The Little Muskies record now stands at 23-4.

With the loss, Westerville Central falls to 15-6 on the campaign.
